Carclo Technical Plastics (Slough) is the Optical division of the
world wide technical plastics group of Carclo PLC. We have always
been at the leading edge of optical technology since the company's
foundation in 1936: such development has seen us placed at the forefront
of its class.
Today Carclo-Optics boasts unrivalled expertise in optical design
and manufacture. It has its own optical design department with full
CAD and Optical modelling facility. In addition, it has specialist
tooling and optical polishing capabilities with considerable experience
in processes such as protective coatings, pad printing and in-mould
foil which are all carried out on site.
Currently 55% of Carclo-Optics' turnover is exported and it is anticipated
that this percentage will continue to grow. The company's prime
goal is to build upon this global base by continuing to develop
long-term partnerships. Whilst this base is geographically widespread,
its activities are highly focused, as many customers are becoming
more demanding of quality and often require a complete service from
initial concept design through to full production.
Carclo-Optics offers a range of off the shelf optics and holders
for the high brightness LEDs market along with other standard lenses
and Fresnel lenses for the PIR market. We also offer full custom
design and moulding service for any plastic components. We are accredited
with BS EN ISO 9001 and by offering a full package of products and
services. The company is well placed to meet the growing demands
of this expanding industry. |
