Pro-Lite Technology LLP (Cranfield, England) specialises in productivity-enhancing
test, measurement and design solutions for the LED industry. Serving
as the distributor for Radiant Imaging and Labsphere in the United
Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, Pro-Lite supplies the following
products to the LED industry:
Radiant Source Models™ give real-life LED luminous intensity
data for optical ray tracing which dramatically improves the predictive
accuracy of computer modelling of an LED-based optical system. Each
software model contains the full spatial light output distribution
for a wide range of lamps and LEDs. Optical sources are measured
using a near-field source imaging goniophotometer and the results
compressed into a single, ready-to-raytrace data file which models
the radiant (luminous) intensity and (optionally) colour variation
of the source from any perspective (viewing angle).
ProMetric™ CCD Imaging Photometers quickly and accurately
determine the colour and brightness of each individual LED emitter
in an array or panel. Typical applications include measurements
of LED clusters, display signs, traffic signals, backlights, luminaires
and automotive & cockpit instrumentation.
ProMetric™ Imaging Sphere is a new and novel solution to one
of the LED industry's biggest problems - how to obtain high speed
angular intensity and colour measurements without the need for a
goniophotometer. The complete hemispherical luminous intensity and
colour variation of an LED is measured in just a few seconds in
the Imaging Sphere.
The new Labsphere SLMS-LED provides LED users and integrators
with an affordable photometer for testing the performance of any
LED and LED-based lighting product. Suitable for individual LEDs
as well as large LED clusters and arrays, SLMS provides instantaneous
measurements of spectral power, luminous flux, intensity, colour
rendering, correlated colour temperature & dominant wavelength.
Critically, SLMS-LED provides results which agree to international
standards for any device size and type.
Measurement Services available from Pro-Lite include LED
luminous and spectral radiant flux for any size and power of LED
or LED cluster, including colorimetric properties. Also available
are contract measurement services of the luminance and colour variation
of an LED array and near-field goniometric measurements of LED spatial
light intensity and the recording of custom Radiant Source Models.
